I provide psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families. I specialize in childhood trauma therapy, individual relationship therapy, sex therapy and transgender therapy for individuals, adults, teens and children. With Childhood Trauma Therapy, I can help you uncover and resolve any childhood traumatic memories that may still be affecting your life today as well as help you cultivate and sustain healthy non-toxic relationships, feel happier and more productive, and achieve your goals. With individual relationship therapy, I can help you understand and relate better to your current partner or spouse, develop insights into your own self- defeating behaviors, and help you develop better communication and intimacy skills to support you in future relationships.
With sex therapy, I can help you address any past issues that may be at the root of your sexual problems, provide guidance and tools to explore and enjoy a healthier more satisfying sex life, and reach your highest sexual potential.
With transgender therapy for individuals, teens and children I can help you understand, love and support yourself or your loved one struggling with gender identification issues. I can assist you with resources for community support groups, doctors who provide hormone therapy, and provide referral letters following WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health) standards of care and gender confirmation surgery. Teletherapy is available through a secure HIPPA compliant platform, WeCounsel.com and Zoom.usa.
Fees and Payment Options
I accept cash, checks and credit cards for session payments as well as many health insurance and EAP plans including: Aetna, AvMed, Blue Cross Blue Shield/ Florida Blue, Cigna, Cigna EAP, Compsych, Health Advocate, Mutual of Omaha, Morneau Shepell, Multiplan, United Health Care/Optum. A sliding scale may be available on a limited basis and can be discussed in your free 15-minute consultation. My sessions are generally 50 minutes and with a fee of $165.
