Welcome to My Practice
Life can present with a host of difficult challenges….Perhaps you feel stuck in a dead end job, gravitate toward unhealthy relationships and feel unworthy of happiness or a decent life. Possibly your child is struggling with gender identification issues and you don’t know who to turn to for help. Maybe you have a history of sexual fears, little or no sexual desire, or want to create more intimacy with your partner. Perhaps your marriage is at a breaking point, and your husband refuses to attend therapy with you. If you are experiencing any of these issues and are considering psychotherapy, today you are on the right path toward healing, empowerment, and a positive state of being.
At Weiss Psychotherapy Group, I offer you a safe place to share your problems and concerns without judgment or blame. I use solution-focused methods to help you identify your core strengths and learn how to apply them toward your therapeutic goals.
Using cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques, I can assist with changing negative beliefs about yourself, others and the world around you, and adopt healthier and more functional ones. Additionally, I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help you uncover and resolve any childhood trauma that may be affecting your life today. I am also a Board-Certified Sex Therapist and have extensive training in transgender care therapy. With my compassionate support you can feel better about yourself, and move forward, to a brighter, more productive, and happier life.
I do understand that entering psychotherapy is a big step, and finding and choosing the best therapist for you may be overwhelming. Let me help you make an informed decision with a free 15-minute phone consultation. It will give you the opportunity to ask questions about my therapy practice and fees, what to expect in my sessions, and allay any concerns. All is strictly confidential. You can call me directly at
